Life on the road!

It's been a few weeks since my last post. Life on the road takes it toll! No cell service to be found. Fear not we have reached our home base at last. Seven Months and 11000 miles. What a journey!

Today's project is a Christmas Card from the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set. You can find this stamp set on Page 70 of the Annual Catalog #148046. I made two cards one for Christmas and One for an upcoming birthday.

The card stock I Used

Real Red AC page 163 #102482 cut at 5.5 x 8,25 score at 4.25

Garden Green AC page 163 #102584 cut at 5.25 x 4

Gold Foil AC page 169 #132622 cut at 5 x 3.75

Whisper White AC page 163 #100730 Cut at 4.75 x 3.50 and one cut at 5.25 x 4 (for the inside of card)

I used 4 ink pads and 3 makers

Memento Black AC page 180 #132708 this will be for your stamping Memento does not bleed when coloring.

Real Red AC page 163 #147084

Garden Green AC page 163 #147089

Crushed Curry AC page 163 #147087

Markers are all in the Regal Marker set all 10 colors AC page 163 #147155

I love my Stamperatus it makes lining the stamps up so easy! I use mine more that blocks lately.

Lay the three pieces on the card stock close the lid they will adhere to the top piece .Now all you have to do is ink them up and close the lid and press!

I stamped all the black pieces first. With the light bulb end just stamp one move it over and stamp another. You will need 4 bulb ends. Next we will stamp the light bulbs star merry and bright. With these you will use real red and garden green alternating the colors.

Make sure to line it up with the bulb end. And pretty soon

I used Crushed Curry to stamp the lights shine!

Next color in the lights on the string alternating Real red and garden green. Use crushed curry for the stars. You can connect your black lines with the stampin write black marker AC page 163 #100082.

The Card front is done all that's left is to put it together with snail adhesive AC page183 #104332

Use the 5.25 x 4 whisper white for the inside.

Use memento black ink to stamp the light string and then alternate real red and garden green to color the lights.

Then stamp a greeting!

Assemble fromt of card with snail adhesive Garden green gold and white and attach to Real red card base.

Here's the birthday card using the stars from the Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set. Cya soon!
